It is a cheerful makeshift eatery located under a tree and is run by Vinod ji and his son. They sell a variety of fritters at an unbelievably affordable rate. One can try the dhuska, the quintessential Jharkhandi snack along with barra, aalu chop and piyaji. Dhuska is a deep fried rice and lentil cake that is mildly spicy, crisp on the outside and soft inside.



SANJU JUICE STALL

To beat the heat and exhaustion, one can grab a glass of refreshing beverage at Sarju Juice stall for some mocktails. Here they have an eclectic range of mocktails that sounds fun. One can try the signature non alcoholic drink named Cocktail.

BABA LITTI

East Market Road, Upper Bazar

This hugely famous litti shop is right beside Jharkhand Dhuska Stall. Here one can try a plate piping hot ghee drenched littis with a runny tomato chutney and aloo chokha. Apart from the great taste the interesting part is watching the whole action of cooking and plating live in front of you.

This cart is a hit with chaat lovers, especially womenfolk, from the college goers to old one. The fuchka here is quite mouth watering and is clearly the best seller. After having the puchkas do try their kachori chaat which is loaded with stuff.

You can check out this shop for sweet and savoury traditional snacks. During winters they sell kale til ke ladoo which is black sesame seeds ladoo and many other things. Lai ke ladoo is one of their most selling items and it is a quintessential sweet from this region

Run by genial Mahesh ji for chaat, this is a neat and tidy stall that serves dahi vada and chaat. We would recommend the plain Dahi vada which is served sans any chutney.



MAA SARASWATI KULHAD CHAI

Near Morabadi Ground

This small tea stall is frequented by college students and office goers. Here you get a strong milky tea that is prepared in a clay pot and served in a clay tumbler.

It is one of the famous sweet shops in Ranchi whose sweets are much loved for their amazing quality. Here one can try the rasmadhuri and winter special gur ke rasgulle in the cottage cheese sweets category and herbal ladoo and kaju katli in the dry sweets category.

This place is known for their hot and spicy tikiya chaat which is essentially a spicy, sweet and sour mixture of potato patty, chickpea curry, onions, sev, yogurt and chutney. All throughout the evening it is abuzz with locals.
