In today's episode, we are exploring some fascinating places near the bustling neighborhood of City Center in Dhanbad as recommended by our dynamic host Ashwini Priya. She is a lawyer by profession and a foodie at heart. Let's take you through the list.
The first stop is Prakash Chaat in front of Madhuri Palace. This place is a favorite of all chaat lovers in the city because the food here is amazing and Prakash Ji is a super genial guy. We loved the gupchup and double from here. The latter one loaded with innumerable stuff is a flavor bomb.
The second stop was Hills Momo where we tried a soft, fluffy, and flavourful steamed bread called soya ball. This resembled a tigmo in texture. The two chutneys accompanying it were equally tasty.
The third stop was Laltu Roll Shop whose rolls are the talk of the town. The egg chicken roll that we tried was soft, succulent, well stuffed, and zesty.
The fourth stop was Koolfee, which is known for malai rabri and fruit kulfi. The rich and luscious taste of the malai rabri topped with a drizzle of cardamom-saffron and rose syrups won our hearts.
The fifth stop was a humble bhunja cart where we grabbed some dry roasted bhunja that consisted of puffed rice, corn flakes, peanuts, etc.
The sixth stop was the Chiranjeevi pakoda cart. Here we tried the very interesting lehsuniya. This garlicky potato-based fritter just blew our mind with its piquant and irresistible taste.
The seventh and final stop of this tour was Madhulika sweet shop. It is the most celebrated name when it comes to hygienic and multi-variety sweets. The chumchum and chandrakala that we tried were luscious and fresh.
