Ladies and Gentlemen, pack your bags, book your tickets and come down to Bangalore for some amazing and delicious CHAAT !!
Chaat is a dish that is synonymous with North India but wait till you have tried the Chaat in the South. We tried a few versions of these sweet, tangy, and spicy delights in Bangalore. The FLOATING PANI PURI, unlike the chaat we North Indians, are usually used to, is mildly spiced but has a very soothing mouthfeel. We also tried a version of the humble Bhel, which is spiced with garlic and a lot of beautiful masalas.
But a trip down south can never be complete without tasting IDLI. THATTE IDLI is basically idlis that are as big as the plain and the one we had was so soft and flavorful that we can still taste it! This lovely steamed cake served with two scrumptious coconut chutneys was definitely a highlight of our trip. Along with this, we tried a number of things that can only be found in Bangalore.
So if you're planning a holiday for this Christmas, just come down to Karnataka and if we may be so bold, do follow in our footsteps, our food choices will not disappoint you!
