One of the major tourist attractions in Goa are the numerous beach shacks that offers them a place to unwind with the majestic view of the sea, great food and drinks. In this episode we along with our hosts Ruturaj and Sneha will be taking you to some of the favourite beach shacks across the state.
The first stop is Mickey's in Betalbatim. This spacious place serves a wide array of Goan delicacies and drinks. Here we tried a creamiest prawn chilli garlic dish. Its main flavour came from the garlic based creamy sauce.
The second stop was Starlight in Tadiwado. Because of its scenic location this place is always full of visitors. Because of the dense crowd and loud music, it was so noisy that we could hardly hear each other speaking. Ruturaj made us try their crab xec xec which was quite amazing.
The third stop was Amarela in Assolna. The ambience was quite beautiful and peaceful. Here we ordered some rice, prawn curry, mussels rava fry and silver fish fry. For dessert we had brownies with ice cream. The food was delightful and so was the ambience.
The fourth stop was Ice Cube Bar where we got ourselves some drinks and spent a relaxing time viewing the sunset. From there we reached Johncy to try one of their specialties, mudso masala fry. As the place is renowned for their seafood dishes, their mudso fry turned out to be toothsome.
Overall we had a relaxing and good time exploring these famous shacks.
